This is a from scratch restaurant. Real southern food. Everything is very fresh and delicious. I love coleslaw, and the coleslaw here is just perfectly the way I like it
This is a great place for a breakfast visit. The food is well prepared, and the service was friendly and excellent.
The restaurant is inside the original shopping center at 5411 US 158 with access from both East and Westbound Interstate 40 by using Southbound NC 801. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday from 7 am till 8p, Saturdays for breakfast and lunch from 7am till 2pm and closed on Sunday. Breakfast is served daily from 7am till 11 pm with daily plate specials for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday including catfish, flounder and shrimp on Friday. Great selection of sandwiches including single and double pimento cheeseburgers.

The food and service was wonderful. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Beautiful flower arrangement at the table! I honestly thought it was fake at first lol. The Chicken and Dumplings was delicious! Amanda was amazing and always checked in on me. She just asked me if I wanted anything else while I was writing this review. Will definitely be coming back!

I really think this place deserves five stars and every Star that they've ever received I think their staff is very attentive. I think their prices are very reasonable. The food don't even get me started the food is so good I have to stop there at least once a week.
